The Symphony of the Sea..................

The smoky breath of Poseidon,
Billowing over wintered wings.
Gracefully touched by ice maidens,
Silent thoughts magically sing.

The mother's crystalline wine,
Flows over verdant isles.
Glimmering like an ancient shrine,
A mirror expanding endless miles.

A melody floats upon the tides,
Lingering within cool sprays.
Upon creamy foam the tune rides,
And silver notes gently raise.

Sweetened with an aqua hue,
The mermaid song plays on.
Secrets of the depths are viewed,
Unlocked by the coming dawn.

A symphony soars within the light,
Sea nymph voices floating high.
Within the sound I hear her might,
Echoing where ocean meets sky.

The crystal opera begins to fade,
Becoming now a hymn of the sea.
Memories fall in a final cascade,
Reminding that the song shall always be.

Unity
is the Eternal Wonder

We try to realize the essential unity of the world
with the conscious soul of man;

we learn to perceive the unity held together
by the one Eternal Spirit,whose power creates the earth,
the sky, and the stars,

and at the same time irradiates our minds with
the light of a consciousness

that moves and exits in unbroken continuity with the outer world.

Let Darkness and Light merge together

Let the good and bad work together as one

Let strength and weakness fuse in union

Let all walk in a common path

Despite the religion, race, language and skin

Jealousy and discrimination should be disallowed

Open-mindedness is the key to unity

Is love or friendship a relationship?

To be specific, neither love nor friendship is a relationship.

A relationship refers to the linkage between anytime (non-living/ living things)
For people's term, the relationship is known as interpersonal/ social relationship

Friendship

Causes

1. Interpersonal Attraction -- personal preference, physical/ sexual attractiveness
   
2. Proximity - distance
   
3. Familiarity
   
4. Similarity -- Interest/ Perception
   
5. Complementarity -- Gender/ perception or character
   
6. Reciprocal liking

Even though friendship looks simple and easy, it is vastly complicated. If we used the different personalities of different people to explain friendship, it will shows a lot of complication. Therefore there are theories that explain how friendship works or develop.

There are 4 main theories that shows clearly what is friendship.

1. Equity Theory --- fairness/ fair treatment. Give and take
   
2. Law of Attraction --- Like Attracts Like, related to Law of Gravity
   
3. Social Penetration Theory ---Closeness involved self-disclosure
   
4. Mere Exposure Theory --- friendship is gained through familiarity
   

Different theories show the different ways people choose their friends and the different stages of friendship. People become closer through communication, therefore if they understand each other well, they may express their personal attitudes and reveal their private information.

PERCEPTION ???????

What is perception? It is the attaining of awareness and understanding of sensory information, it is the formation of a particular concept. As we know; different people have different perception, then where does perception comes from:

• · Our brain, or to be accurate; The Eye of the Mind
• · Five Senses
• · Our Thinking
• · The Surrounding; common sense

Why people have perception?

• · PEOPLE HAVE BRAIN
• · They came from different cultures
• · Experience/ knowledge/ wisdom
• · Creativity/ innovation

The world is filled with people of different perception, their thinking and opinions may not be the same as each others. This is due to the influence of their cultures, races and religion. Other that influence people’s mind are rumors, common sense and other sources. For example, an orange is a fruit; some people may think that is just a common fruit, some may think of our issue due to its color, orange, for example the Beijing Olympics 2008 issue. Different perception may lead to clashes, conflict, disappointment, disrespect and other issues that existed in this world.

It is perception in everyone keeping the earth moving to its fullest change. With perception in one’s mind, he/she is able to be confident in his/her statement. But do we ask ourselves: “Is our perception fake or a truth? Is it related to reality? What happened if whatever we think and do is a fake? And the things you are against is a truth…………………
